TESTS

Three Tests are held at the Center:

Placement Test

Every new student who registers at the Center has to take this test. The student receives a detailed description of the grades. Then they are placed in the appropriate levels that meet both the test scores’ results and students’ abilities. It is 45-minute-test that has four sections:

1. Listening

2. Appropriate Responses

3. Grammar and Structure

4. Reading Comprehension

TOEFL Test:

(Test of English as a Foreign Language.) The ITP test is administered by AMIDEAST, Damascus at the Aram Language Center. All American universities and most European ones require this test.  It has three sections:
     1. Listening

     2. Grammar and Structure

     3. Reading Comprehension

TOEIC Test:

(Test of English for International Communication) is administered by AMIDEAST, Damascus at the Aram Language Center. This test verifies the students’ level of English proficiency. It is recognized by many corporations around the world. It is not accepted for university applications. The students receive a Certificate of Achievement, in a format suitable for framing, which features: Student’s name, scores, test date and location and administrating organization. There are two sections in the test:

1.      Listening.

2.      Reading Comprehension.
